Are fats really that bad?

It is common phrase to hear that "fats are bad for health." or " If you want to stay healthy keep fats out of your diet." This is however only partially through. Fat supplies essential fatty acids (EFAs) that cannot be produced by our body, for example linoleic acid and alpha lenoleic acid, so these acids can only be derived from the food we eat. In additian, fats also ferry vitamins A, D, E, and K( also known as fat-soluble vitamins) into and around the bdy. Fats is also necessary for maintaining healthy skin, and it plays a central role in the promotion of helathy eyesight and brain development in babies in children. However there are also bad things about fats. There is a well established link between heart diseases and stroke. Diets rich in trans fat or saturated fat raise blood cholesterol concentrations, contributing to clogged arteries to block the flow of oxygen rich oxygen o the heart and the brain.
